BRIAN

 

Brian Kinney for many years was a Senior Civil Servant at the Home Office, working closely with Ministers and setting up and running cross-departmental initiatives involving Public, Private, and Voluntary sector members. As a highly driven Commercial Director Brian's strong leadership and networking skills consistently secured sustainable growth by utilising his exceptional interpersonal and networking skills across all sectors.

 

With over 35 years at the Home Office Brian is used to working at speed on new concepts and delivering demanding projects. He exhibited his natural flair for fostering co-operative stakeholder working when he represented the UK abroad in many different international groupings such as the EU, the Council of Europe, and the OECD in Paris. He also represented the United Kingdom as Head of a UK Delegation in round-table discussions with a former Vice President of the USA.

 

Since leaving the Home Office Brian has worked in the private sector as:

 

1. A Bid Management and Procurement Consultant - particularly in the areas of social housing and renewal energy.
   
   
2. A Consultant brokering solutions to complex private sector company disputes.
   
   
3. A Business Development Officer offering training and advice to representatives of overseas Governments in the UK on how best to operate within the jurisdiction of the UK.
   
   
4. Offering overseas companies and entrepreneurs access to UK and European markets and funding for expansion opportunities.

 

His most recent projects - across diverse sectors - in South Africa, the Middle East and the USA illustrate Brian's tenacity, skills, and personal charisma to secure partnership working between the UK and the rest of the World.
